I Am Waters has partnered with the Houston Foodbank to deliver 180,000 bottles of clean drinking water to Houston’s homeless population. The delivery was a first step to proving out a distribution system that can move water from central locations to homeless shelters. The shelters that participated in the program were SEARCH, Star of Hope, Mission of Yahweh, Bread of Life, The Palmer Way Station, Covenant House, Open Door Mission and Lords of the Streets. Elena Davis said “the program seems to be working, the water was eagerly received by shelters serving the homeless community and everyone is happy with the result. We need to thank the Houston Foodbank for all their support. They made this all possible”.

Thanks so much for the water for our homeless neighbors! I used to be ED & Vicar at Lord of the Streets, & I can assure you that there’s only one –Lord of the Streets, that is. Blessings to all who are generous with those who have so little!
