Model, actress, interior designer, and host, Joan Severance was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She began her modeling career with Elite Models and within just months of moving to Paris, France, she graced the covers of international magazines and was doing shows for all the top designers. In addition, she landed campaigns for Chanel and Versace and several national commercials, including, Avon, Almay,Clairol, L’oreal, Revlon and Maybelline.
Ms. Severance has appeared in over 25 films including “Bird on a Wire” with Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn and “See No Evil Hear No Evil” with Gene Wilder, Richard Pryor and Kevin Spacey. Her TV credits include Aaron Spelling’s “The Love Boat: The Next Wave,” “One Tree Hill,” and “CSI: Miami” among others. Her most notable role is as a villainess on the TV series Wiseguy with Kevin Spacey.
Ms. Severance has a Bachelors Degree in Natural Health. She has a gourmet cooking degree from Roger Verge of The Moulin du Mougin restaurant in Mougins, France. She also owned and was the chef of a restaurant in upstate New York, owned a catering company in New York, and is currently launching a new home decor product “candlvaz” as well as developing a board game and computer app.
