Nearly 2,000 students in Seminole County are deemed homeless, waking up in motels, cars or some other transitional housing. It’s a significant jump from one year ago, when there were 1322 students in the Families in Transition program. But now there is new hope for a select group of students. It’s called the Rafael Project, named after the archangel of healing.
