The Arizona Republic – Fears For The Homeless

Dianna M. Náñez from The Arizona Republic reports “As temperatures rise in Arizona, so has the fear for the homeless. In 2005, 32 people passed away due to the extreme temperatures – politicians, charities, and other groups vowed it would never happen again. But due to the economy, charities and other organizations seem to be running out of water to keep their hydration stations open. With temperatures as high as 1110, it is a hazard for anyone to go without water.”
